You gotta love this guy!

Gaius Flavius Valerius Aurelius Constantinus (27 February ca.280 – 22 May 337), commonly known as Constantine I, Constantine the Great, or (among Eastern Christians of Byzantine tradition) Saint Constantine, was a Roman Emperor, proclaimed Augustus by his troops on July 25, 306 and who ruled an ever-growing portion of the Roman Empire until his death.

But most importantly, he degreed, on March 7, 321, that the dies Solis Invicti (sun-day) was to be the day of rest in the Empire. He invented lazy Sunday!!! Hurray to a great man!!!
