Modest Mussorgski

Modest Petrowitsch Mussorgski (* March 21st, 1839 in Karewo, Oblast Pskow; † March 28th, 1881 in St. Petersburg) was an innovative Russian composer famed for his songs and his operas on subjects connected with mediaeval Russian history.
